Understanding Our Mobile App's Data (Part 1)
We’re approximately 4 months into the development of Pingle and 1 month of it being available in the Google Play store. As a result, I wanted to share with you the data we’ve captured so far. Data Consumerism and the Attention Economy
We consume a LOT! Everyday, we’re devouring as much as we can get our hands on; most of us more than 3 times a day. Everyone has different tastes, people are sensitive to feeling different emotions on a daily, no wait, hourly basis and therefore will often contradict their own tastes on a regular basis. Often people are on the phone, or developers need to concentrate without distraction and don’t forget, once a week Friday comes around and it’s time to gear up for the weekend. There’s a multitude of variables affecting the type of music that’s loaded onto those naff portable speakers in the corner of the studio. Hmmmm can you tell i’ve already drifted into more of rant about my own personal experiences than sticking with the general tone i started this post with.
